USCAN US80P Orbit Knob Grade 2 Cylindrical Storeroom Function Lockset-2-3/8 Backset - Stainless Steel Finish
Storeroom function - Latchbolt retracted by key outside or by knob/lever inside. Otherwise it always remains locked. When the key is removed, the door is locked on the outside. There is no way to lock or unlock the outside knob from the inside. Inside knob is always free for immediate egress.
Typical uses for a storeroom function lock are: secure storage rooms, mechanical rooms, and electrical rooms that do not require panic hardware. Door must be pulled or pushed closed all the way shut to engage the lock.
