Sargent & Greenleaf 7312-001 5/16 Spindle Extension Kit
Used to add up to 4-14/16" of spindle length to your existing dial for thick safe doors. Make sure the existing spindle hole is large enough to accommodate the kit's connecting collar. Spindle, extension collar, and spline keys are included in the kit.
-5/16" brass dial spindle extension kit with instructions. (5/16-40x4-14/16")
-Collar is .450" (11.4 mm) diameter

Extra thick door
Schwab fire safe has an extra thick door for the four hour rating and needed a new lock. Factory spindle is an inch too short. The extension worked as stated and is easy to install. Just be sure to have a bit of Loctite on hand.
