Spyderco Long Deep Carry Titanium Clip-Blacksmith Finish
Blacksmith is a finish LynchNW does in-house that involves blasting the clip, then superheating it, then quenching it. The result is a black finish that looks very similar to DLC. They've had good feedback from users about it’s durability.
The long clip is suggested for all FRN-scaled Spyderco blades (Endura, Delica, Stretch, etc) and the Domino. This is due to pinch point location - the long clips pinch in the same location as the OEM Spyderco clips (the smooth part of the FRN scales, and the lock bar on the Domino). They are made in Washington state from domestic 6AL-4V titanium, and are hand-formed and finished.
Each clip carries a lifetime guarantee - if you bend or tweak it, Lynch NW will replace it.
Note: This clip comes with a hardware packet that includes a set of “just in case” screws and an Allen wrench. Spyderco OEM screws take a T6 (Torx) wrench to remove.
